- Population growth is set to increase greatly in next couple of years due to "projected natural increase" more birth rates than death rates.

- There is a skewed age distribution as people are living longer and we will therefore have an older population as people are receiving better health care.

- UK obesity is said to be on the increase however the UK health care is deemed highly nationally.

- People are being trained and more skilled to prepare them for employment hence an increase in a working population and job satisfaction.

-  More than half (54%) of the increase of the UK population between 1991 and 2012 was due to the direct contribution of net migration. However due to upcoming immigration laws the number of immigrants entering the UK will decrease
